ELK Evolution

Legal

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the ELK Evolution website and the booking of our events, retreats and free wellbeing sessions. By using the site or making a booking, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About us

ELK Evolution provides trauma-informed wellbeing ceremonies, breathwork, retreats and community circles across Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde Coast, Preston, Chorley & Lancaster. Our founder is Emma-Louise Kelly. These terms apply to all visitors and registered users of our platform.

2. Using our website

  • •You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make a booking.
  • •You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering and completing your profile.
  • •You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • •You must not misuse the platform, attempt to access others' data, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
  • •Some events are redirected to external ticketing providers; their terms apply to those bookings.

3. Bookings and tickets

  • •A booking is confirmed once payment is received (or, for free sessions, once you complete checkout) and a ticket is issued.
  • •Each ticket bears a unique code and QR data, used for entry verification at the venue.
  • •Tickets are personal to you and may not be resold or transferred without our consent.
  • •We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone whose ticket is invalid, cancelled, or has already been used.
  • •Where an event is sold via an external provider such as Fatsoma, that provider's terms take precedence for the transaction.

4. Free sessions

We offer a number of free wellbeing sessions to the community. Although no payment is required, you must still hold a valid ticket and complete your profile so we can care for your safety. Misuse of free tickets (for example, booking places with no intention to attend repeatedly) may result in future bookings being declined.

5. Prices and payment

  • •Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include applicable VAT where relevant.
  • •Payment is processed securely by our payment provider at checkout.
  • •We reserve the right to change prices for future events; any booking already confirmed is not affected.
  • •Discount codes, where available, are subject to their own terms and may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancelling your booking

If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. Where an external provider issued your ticket, their cancellation terms apply.

If we cancel

If we cancel an event, we will offer a full refund or a transfer to another event of equal value. We are not liable for travel or other costs you may have incurred.

Force majeure

We are not liable for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, public health restrictions or venue issues.

7. Health, safety and wellbeing

Our offerings are trauma-informed and may involve breathwork, ceremony and physical or emotional practices. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for assessing your suitability.

  • •You must complete your profile honestly, including allergies, medical notes and pregnancy status, so we can care for your safety.
  • •If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication, consult your doctor before booking breathwork or ceremony.
  • •Inform your facilitator of any changes to your health before a session begins.
  • •You may pause or step out of any practice at any time - your wellbeing comes first.
  • •We may decline or end participation where we believe continuing would put you or others at risk.

8. Conduct at gatherings

  • •Treat facilitators and fellow participants with respect, kindness and confidentiality.
  • •What is shared in a circle stays in the circle; please do not disclose others' personal stories.
  • •Do not attend under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances that would make practice unsafe.
  • •We may remove anyone whose behaviour disrupts the safety of the space, without refund.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website - including the ELK Evolution name and logo, text, imagery and session materials - is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without written permission.

10. Your profile and personal data

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By creating an account you consent to the processing of your data as described there.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss arising from your use of the platform or attendance at a session is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for matters that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date shown above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
