Emma-Louise Kelly
Founder of ELK Evolution
When I first started ELK Evolution, I shared a little about something I was building. But I never really explained why.
ELK aren't simply my initials. The elk itself is deeply symbolic of the work I do and the journey I am on.
The Meaning Behind ELK Evolution
In shamanic traditions, the elk represents strength, endurance, grounding, protection and sacred pacing. It is seen as a bridge between the earth and the cosmos, with its hooves rooted deeply into the earth and its antlers reaching towards the heavens.
That symbolism feels incredibly connected to me.
The Journey
My path to this work was not linear. It was forged in the quiet, tender spaces of my own healing.
I have lived through childhood trauma, serious mental health struggles, so many suicide attempts, addiction, grief and significant loss. I have experienced abuse, domestic abuse and sexual violence, and I have known some incredibly dark places in my life.
I have also discovered a strength within myself that I didn't always know was there. And that is part of why I created ELK Evolution.
The Spaces I Create
The spaces I create are the spaces I needed when I was struggling.
Spaces where you can feel safe, breathe, release, reconnect with yourself and others without judgement.
Through cacao, breathwork, sound, meditation, the shamanic drum and holistic practices, I create experiences that bring people back to their own inner rhythm.
Because healing isn't a sprint. It requires sacred pacing.
The Training
I am trained and certified in trauma-informed wellbeing, ceremonial cacao facilitation, conscious connected breathwork, sound healing and holistic massage. My approach is somatic, paced and rooted in safety above all, because healing cannot happen in a body that does not feel secure.
The Mission
ELK Evolution is my way of creating the spaces I once needed, and making them accessible to others who may need them too. This is more than my business. It is part of my journey.
This is the work of the earth, the breath, and the circle. Welcome home.
With so much love, always,
Emma-Louise
